baby's first road trip

on saturday morning we drove to nova scotia for the very first time to visit with family and see where mom grew up. we stayed the night and left on sunday morning.

this is how i spent most of the drive on saturday.


mom sat in the back seat to keep me company. i was awake for a little while, and we played with some toys. it was fun!




after about 3 hours and 45 minutes on the road, we finally arrived.

the first new person i met after we had been home for a while was the next door neighbour. her name is charlotte too!


i got to meet great nanny!


and great uncle randy and great aunt peggy.


here i am with nanny and grampy b and ant grub. i don't know why grampy b is on his knees. he's silly.


we had a good visit. i didn't sleep much on the way back... i even cried a little. but me and mom played and it wasn't so bad afterall.


it was a fun weekend!
